The Zak van Zuid-Beveland Environmental Cooperative was looking for a new, refreshing logo design that would reflect the essence of nature and agriculture. Their wish was for a logo that integrated a tree, a bird, and wheat.
It was a challenge to clearly incorporate all these elements into the logo without blurring the message. To maintain recognizability, I chose to use only the outlines of the tree and wheat. As can be seen in the sketches below, the designs with filled-in trees gave the logo a heavy feel. By working only with the outlines, the logo design retained a light and friendly feel.
